Family Business

I spent 14 years working in the business that my father founded. In those 14 years we made plenty of mistakes, and had a lot of wins. I have built a network of resources to specifically support Family Businesses in their culture. Here are some truths that I believe;

1. In Family Businesses, culture is created around the dinner table.

2. Employees are treated as family, these stories become the family legacy and shape the culture.

3. Boundaries & Expectations are not always made clear, lines of work and family tend to be very blurred.

4. Family governance becomes necessary- clarifying authority and responsibility. 

5. Being self-aware enough to know when to ask for help is critical
